Spandau Ballet’s Gary Kemp explores the life and legacy of his childhood hero Mick Ronson, David Bowie’s right hand man throughout the Ziggy Stardust era.

Part of the Sky Arts’ Passions series. This is a beautifully made documentary, produced and directed by Paul Bernays of Artisan Pictures.

It features interviews with Ronno himself, David Bowie, Mike Garson, Lulu, Dana Gillespie, John Cambridge – drummer from Ronno’s band The Rats, Bernard Butler, Roger Taylor from Queen, John Taylor and Nick Rhodes from Duran Duran, music writer Charles Shaar Murray and classical conductor Charles Hazelwood who conducts a string section performing Ronno’s gorgeous Life on Mars arrangement.

First broadcast on Tuesday 4th April 2017 @ 9pm. This version, with ads removed was edited by Nacho.
