New David Bowie Mural in London!

London-based French street artist, Zabou, has recently completed a new Bowie mural in East London.

She based the artwork on Brian Duffy’s 1973 Aladdin Sane photoshoot, but seemingly hybridised it with the ‘shh’ raised finger from the ever popular 1995 Gavin Evans photoshoot.

These photos were taken today (Dec 22nd) with the mural less than a week old. It looks like the eye area is brighter than the rest of the mural, but that was just sunlight reflecting off a window over the street.

It’s sited in Ada Street, right next to Broadway Market. Haggerston and Hoxton are the nearest (overground) stations.
