David Bowie – Cat People (Putting Out Fire)

Cat People (Putting Out Fire) is the title song of the 1982 film Cat People, sung by David Bowie. Recorded in July 1981, the song was written by Bowie with producer Giorgio Moroder. The 1981 recording has been described as one of “the finest of Bowie’s recordings of the 1980s”. A re-recorded version of the song, created a year and a half later, appears on the album Let’s Dance (1983).
