Coming to venues across Liverpool 17-19 June 2022, over the 50th Anniversary weekend of the release of Ziggy Stardust, an all-star line-up of David Bowie’s closest friends and collaborators come together exclusively to celebrate the Man Who Fell To Earth.

An opportunity for all fans to listen, learn, laugh and leave inspired, ticket holders to the event will brush shoulder to shoulder with Bowie’s esteemed collaborators, including: guitarist and bandleader for 3 decades, Carlos Alomar; bass-player and vocalist from 1995 to 2016, Gail Ann Dorsey; legendary drummer and last surviving Spider from Mars, Woody Woodmansey; unmistakable vocal powerhouse, Robin Clark; and the last musician to play with Bowie, saxophonist Donny McCaslin.

Revered for his visuals as much as his music, the event also sees exhibitions and talks from an array of photographers and designers who helped craft Bowie’s iconic imagery, as the convention brings the works and insights of The Duffy Archive, Brian Aris, Denis O’Regan, Philippe Auliac and Jonathan Barnbrook together for the first time.

Situated at the heart of the weekend, Bowie Ball will be a vibrant, chameleonic celebration of self expression, with all ticket holders encouraged to spare no modesty or make-up and bring their favourite era of Bowie to Liverpool’s Saturday night streets.

The weekend will be packed with live performances of fan-favourites, classic albums and renditions of seldom heard rarities, alongside special guest appearances from artists indebted in their influence to Bowie.

A complete cultural immersion into the life, work and legacy of one of the planet’s greatest musical exports, the convention should be the first plan in the 2022 calendar for fans of all ages and interests.
